What a wonderful little trick.

If a poll supports my opinion, it is statistically sound. If it does not,
it is then unsound.

Man, I wish I could have used this technique in my labs, I would have had
much better results.

Pres, your opinions are known. They reflect themselves in your work. But
refusing to accept the validity of a differing opinion is nothing more than
intellectual pig-headedness.

You have a right to your opinion. You have a right to make C&C based on
that, and to write your fiction from that viewoint. You even have a right
to dispute C&C that you disagree with, based on that viewpoint.

But everyone else has a right to agree or disagree with you as they see fit.
You do not have the right to be abusive and rude when you they disagree with
you, as you have been during this discussion on OOC-ness. You do not have a
right to dismiss the validity of a differing opinion just because it is
different than yours.

You do not have a right to claim that all fan polls are null and void. You
can BELIEVE they are worthless. You can discount their results. But you
can not force other people to discount them.

To everyone: Let's try to be a bit more decent about this, shall we? Posts
like the one I'm replying to a might rude.
