This story is based on the great and brilliant Shin Megami Tensei
series. This stories, atmosphere, portal idea{In this chapter}, demon
summoning, demonic themes and pretty much death helping the main
character by bringing him back to life after his death, are all a
copyright of Atlus corperation.

WARNING: This is a dark, There is no rape or anything of the sort but
massive demonic themes, blood and gore and the whole thing is very evil.
Also many relgious refferences make this almost blashphemous for me to
write and the only reason I continue despite this fact is that I want to
finish a story.

And so it begins.......
.....................................................................................................

Who is the devil summoner? Part:4.

Did it all really happen? Was I in the world I knew except demons were
there? Demons, were they demons? Was it all in my mind and the demons
were a representation of my inner
hatred and evil thoughts? Was I dreaming and all that is happening a
dream, no a nightmare? Or maybe Im stuck in someone elses dream,
forced to fight against his evil thoughts and his enemies. All in his
mind.
Did I meet this maid named Andrea who is really a demon hunter from
about twenty years ago who died fighting demons? She said she was hired
by Mr. Relfrens father, is there any connection? Even if there is, does
it matter? Is she who she feels she is or someone else? We all have
different people within us. Some are merciful, others, demonic. Is that
the meaning of life and how we define it? A constant struggle against
ones self, against the evil we think and do. Maybe that is the meaning
of life, maybe.
So we are moving towards Calrom software where Mr. Relfren is. We
are going there to find out what his connection is to all of this evil
and maybe try to stop him. But how do we fight a big corporation? Will
we die in vain and no one know before they all die? That is what the
demons will do, I know it.
I have the weirdest feeling ever since I died, well who wouldnt.
But it has gotten worse since I talked to Tsumi. He seems to be sane
amongst all the insane people in the world. Or maybe it is not insanity
of everyone else but just his eyes are open as all other peoples are
shut to themselves, to their inner evils. But the mans not human in the
mental sense, more of a demonic shadow of someones self, maybe himself.

Oh it looks like I have to go. I have to return now to myself, to my
mind, for he needs me. He doesnt know Im there but has a feeling he
does, and thats one step closer. One step may not be a lot, but it
could turn into more. The first is always as or more important then the
last.

Matthew looked up at the towering business building. It was night
now, about nine oclock. The moon hung high over the city, slightly
lighting the darkness. But a greater darkness
was at work, in Calrom software. Some sort of demonic plan was going on
there and they had to stop it.
He wished he didnt have to bring Andrea here, he hated her. But she
was good with a gun and useful in that way. Few people were driving
through the lighted streets and even fewer walking. The night was clear
he noticed, no clouds or anything of the sort. But that was not
important.
He walked to the glass door and he pushed it open slowly to reveal a
small lobby. He was soon followed by Andrea who took her time entering.
The room was all black tiling. The whole thing was cleaned and
looked very well off. It should be for the biggest company in the world.
There were a few chairs close to the door, against the wall, for someone
to sit on in case they were waiting for an appointment. At the far end
of the room exactly opposite from the door was a black elevator. The
numbers above it showed twelve floors and then three basement floors,
and they were on the first floor. By the elevator was a front desk where
a woman sat, writing on her computer.
She looked up and smiled. Hello, welcome to Calrom software. What
can I do for you?
Matthew smiled back. Could we please meet with Mr. Relfren? It is
very important that we see him.
The lady shook her head. Im sorry. But hes in a very important
meeting now and cant be disturbed. Even if he wasnt, you would need to
schedule an appointment with him first.
Matthew frowned. Look I really need to see him. Could you just let
us go. Okay?
No mister, you cant go in. So just leave quietly or I will call
security, and you wouldnt want that.
Matthew was starting to loose patience and was getting very
desperate. Look we really need to see him bad. So can y........... He
never finished before the sound of gunshots was heard from behind him.
He turned around to see Andrea putting away her handgun. Why did you
kill her? Damn you! You shouldnt kill innocent people, dont you have a
soul?
Andrea began to walk towards the elevator. No. I sold it a long
time ago. She was the first to die, and trust me, there will be many
more. So lets get going.
Andrea was insane, he knew that now. But there was no point in
staying here until someone came down, so he followed her into the
elevator. He watched as she punched in floor twelve on the elevator.
So it went up, slowly. No talking was started between them as they
just stood there in the elevator, waiting to get off. H hoped this would
be like all the stories. Where the bad guy was always on the top floor
and was always defeated by the good guy. Most important of all, him
being the good guy and all, was living happily ever after.
Then the sound of the elevator stopping hit him mas he was caught
off balance due to his thinking. The door then opened to reveal an empty
room, everything was bare. At the far end there was a massive window
which gave an amazing view of the city. The room was so huge but yet
empty. The whole room was black tiling like the rest of the building.
There was one difference though. On the floor was a massive pentagram.
It covered the whole floor and was done in white.
Matthew looked at this thing and took it as a bad sign, it always
was in the stories. This may sound weird but why dont we walk into
this thing?
Andrea looked at him blankly and blinked three times. Are you
kidding? You are, right? We dont know what might happen. We could be
killed, transported to the demon world or nothing may happen.
Matthew sighed. Well we might as well try. He didnt wait for
Andrea to agree and ran onto the pentagram, then vanished.

He awoke in a candle lit room. The whole room was about as big as
the office and not as pleasant. The whole room was circled with black
wax candles. They stood atop a golden pole
with a golden pentagram beneath the candle, each was exactly the same.
There were about thirty of them but they gave of little light. But they
seemed to cast many shadows on the walls and floors.
The walls were a blood red and looked as though they were stained
with blood itself. On the walls and floor were black pentagrams. The
whole room was covered with the demonic symbol.
He then saw people from his stationary position on the floor. Eight
of them, all in black robes except for one who wore a black business
suit, Mr. Relfren. They all sat in a circle around some sort of object
he couldnt see. They all hummed all sort of weird words and phrases
which made no sense.
Then Matthew eyed them all passing around a knife. Each one slitting
their wrists and dripping the blood on the object. Then a scream emerged
from what they were circled around, it was Andrea. He didnt like he, in
fact he hated her but he didnt want to see her dead.
They didnt seem to notice that he was awake, or at least didnt
care. Matthew decided to use this to his advantage. Pulling his handgun
from its concealed area he fired off his whole entire clip as everyone
broke into histeria over the surprise attack.
They all ran around to check the dead as two came over and held
Matthew in his place. He could not move for some sort of reason. It was
weird. He had killed four of them and wounded Mr. Relfren, good.
Mr. Relfren got up from where he sat and walked over to Matthew.
You! Your slowing us down damn you! I should kill you, but the devil
summoner is a great prize. Unless you want to join us?
Matthew spit on the floor, which was then followed by a guard
hitting him. Mr. Relfren frowned and walked over to the object in the
middle of the room. I expected as much, oh well. Since youre trapped
in soul binders, you wont be of much trouble. But as for you lady
friend.
He moved out of the way to give Matthew a look at what they had
encircled. It was a large purple pentagram, put on its base. Then bound
to it was Andrea, all covered in blood. She shook and screamed as Mr.
Relfren moved towards Andrea with the knife. But then you did supply us
with a very pretty sacrifice you know. And I have to thank you for it.
Matthew screamed for him to stop and as did Andrea but it as too
late. He stabbed the knife into her chest and ripped out her heart.
Then, holding it beating and pulsing its last breath
in his hand he swallowed it whole. Blood poured down the alter where
Andrea lay, limp. Then blood came up out of Mr. Relfrens mouth, black
blood. It spilled onto the floor as he laughed maniacally. Ah, I hit
two bird with one stone. Not only is my transition to a pure demon
complete, but the portal to the demon world is open, and you are doomed.
Now I can cast away this human shell which I stole from Mr. Relfren and
become my true self. Now Tsumi, it is your turn to make the transition.

One of the cloaked figures moved over to Matthew and took his own
knife. This time I will reconcile my mistakes. You are very important
now I can cast away this human form which I stole as well. And then us
demons will rule the world.
The last thing Matthew saw was the knife in Tsumis hand and a black
portal to the demon world open above the purple pentagram. The last
thing........
