I got a few C&C - people either loved or hated the characterization -
I have a sneaking suspicion that those who love it are big fans of the
introspection-type fics, and that those who hate it are those who 
revere canon.

Speaking as someone who does revere the canon, but also likes
introspective fics if they're well done, I'm pretty dubious about the
characterization in this one. We don't know all the facts yet, but from
what I can tell so far, Ranma and Cologne appear to be very OOC. Maybe
there's a good explanation ahead to justify their actions, and if so
that's great, but for now I don't see why they would possibly do what
they're doing.

Also, the story is taking quite a long time to get where it's going,
wherever that is.
