The Cat's in the Cradle with the Silver Spoon.

	When she didn't show up for work and her house was empty, her
coworkers filed a MPR with the police. A couple days later, she was
replaced by a temp. The next day, they cleaned out her locker, it was the
final straw. She was dead, or she was missing. The management would keep
her personal items for a year, then they would donate them to a charity.
One of the coworkers whispered that no one had been in her house for a
while, in fact it looks like nothing was missing. Breakfast dishes in the
sink, half a pot of coffee left, clothes strewn about, nothing made any sense.
	A week later, her coworkers were called by an ADPolice officer.
They think they found her, would they come down to identify the body. Four
of her coworkers went down to the station, they were met by a young
private with bloodshot eyes. With some brief introductions, the private
led them down into the basement. As they strode through the bulletproof
glass doors of the morgue, a little man in a white lab coat opened a
freezer door and rolled out a body. As the coworkers got closer to the
table, the man pulled the sheet off of the head. There she sat, eyes
staring out into the world. Two coworkers hugged in grief, another turned
his head, and the last asked why the sheet didn't look right. The little
man shook his head and said that they could not find anything beyond her
upper chest area. The one who asked found the trash can.
	After an hour of sitting in the lobby just talking to the various 
people
that came by. Psychonannies, but they didn't know that, the private
showed them out the front door. As they left, one of the workers asked why
she was in the ADP Morgue, after all, she wasn't ADP.
	The trooper replied, "She and the four other non-cops in this morgue
aren't civilians. They were the Knight Sabers."

There's nothing in this world of value...
Nothing risks our lives for...
Except, perhaps...
What little we can create OURSELVES.
