This came up a few weeks ago, and a number of you still just don't seem to
get it.


People, if you have one of the following situations:

(a) You're reposting all your old fics to the FFML

(b) You're reposting all of one rather large fic to the FFML

(c) You have to break up a section of a fic into lots of itty bitty pieces
for posting to the FFML


DO NOT POST THE WHOLE MESS AT ONE TIME!!

Flooding the FFML is no way to get your fic(s) read. When a half dozen or
more messages cross the list in one day which are from the same author, and
which are all marked [repost] or have the same subject header except for a
part/total number, what is likely to happen is 90 percent, or more, of the
FFML subscribers are going to highlight all of these messages, and click
Delete.

Space it out, people. There's no reason for you to flood the FFML. It's
hard to face this fact, but your fic may be important to you, but it's not
so important to everyone else that they simply must have it all at once.
Most people won't find TIME to read something that large all at once, in
any case. So do yourself a favor and spread it out over a few days of light
posting.

The prescreening critics say it's a good movie,
a VERY good movie...but it's not THAT GOOD
of a movie. Then again...NOTHING could live
up to the hype this movie is generating. I mean,
there's no possible way any movie could live up
to that much hype.  The only way a movie could
live up to this kind of hype is to be 12 hours long,
over a billion dollars in production, and written and
directed by God. (Or Steven Spielberg.)
