 reason why I don't comment or criticize certain fics is not 
because they are really good are terribly bad, but because I just 
don't feel compelled to.  I read fanfics for the sheer enjoyment 
of reading them, and I'm sure that there are a lot of people like
me(eh.. in that sense only) due to the fact that only a few people  
comment or criticize fanfics. To not have any 'overwhelming criticisms'
does not mean that the fic is liked or not liked, it just means that
people aren't taking the time to make comments on it.  You can't 
expect a lot of the readers to say, 'I don't like your fic because...',
because that just won't happen.  When I don't like a fic I delete 
it and move  on to something better that will get the bad thoughts
out of my mind, kinda like getting rid of a bad taste. I don't like dwelling
on it, saying.. "hmm.. how do I improve this fic.."
 (I feel like these comments are so immature.. See this is why I 
usually don't do comments.) So respect these few people who voice
 their opinions because they're  only trying to help. They do in fact
represent the general public in some ways, I mean their human right?
Three is more than one, and for all of them having the same view.. 
that has to say something. I personally love alternate universes, 
but only if it's explained well, and makes some sort of sense.  I 
like to actually see the characters in my mind acting it out, and if
the story is too inconsistent, it's just darn annoying.
   Err.. anyways, about attracting the broadest audience.. well who's 
to say that all the other people on the ffml like the work. I mean.. 
if only a few people responded kindly to it, wouldn't that be the 
same as the few people that criticized it? 
Well, I'm hoping this isn't personally offensive to anyone.
(hehe, geez.. it's obvious I'm a newbie isn't it.)
