First off, great story. You've probably heard it all before.

Nah. This was the first chapter. Though hopefully, after a few more, I'll
hear it again. ^_^

Overview:
Ranma as Captain America
Kodachi as Iron Man
Akane as Thor
Mousse as Daredevil
Ryouga as Hulk

And Ukyou as Hawkeye. Still a handful more on the way.

At first I was trying to decide who the time-manipulator was: Kang or
Immortus

Twas Kang. The purple and green armor was the give-away.

(this is a crux point, by the way, since while Kang becomes
Immortus, not all Kangs become Immortus. Avengers Forever, baby!).

And of course there are a few Rama Tuts and Scarlet Centurions in there to
boot.

Boy, oh boy, have you caught me at a good time for an Avengers/Ranma
fusion.
I've just read the ESSENTIAL AVENGERS and MARVELS, as well as quite a bit
of
Avernger's by Busiek.

Yep. That will load you up, all right.

Ryouga as Hulk, how obvious is that??

Ah, but think of the fun we can have with the poor ole' lost one. And at
least here he has a REALLY big power advantage over Ranma this time. And
knowing how much Ryouga loves Ranma, the typical meeting formula would be
something like:

Ryouga + two minutes alone 'talking' with Ranma = Hulk

 Mousse as Daredevil, again, how
obvious is that?

Too obvious to pass up, obviously ^_^

But a GODDESS OF THUNDER??? Obviously Odin has been
getting ideas from EARTH-X.

Haven't gotten around to reading that yet.

But it would make for an interesting personality
thing for Akane when she finally figures out that, hey, Thor is supposed
to
be male. And then along came the Enchantress

Oh, count on her making an appearence, though perhaps not quite in the way
you're thinking.

(whom I fell in love with in
WORLDENGINE) . . . And let's not even think about Sif.

No. That would be the best, for now.

Though i do look
forward to seeing the Frog of Thunder again.

You think I should use the Spring of Drowned Frog, eh?

Since I am also making an anime-comic fusion (though not characters but
rather archetypes . . . God, don't get me started cause I'll never stop),
I
do have a few suggestions,

Shoot. I know I'm looking for them.

obvious ones and hopefully not so obvious ones:
"Copycat" Ken as The Taskmaster

Ohh. Hadn't thought of that one. Tasky's one of my favorite's too.

Eat Man (by god, that name cracks me up something fierce) as Crusher
Creel
only with slightly modified powers . . .

Not familiar with Eat Man.

Ok, ok, bear with me here but . . .
Azusa Shiratori as THE COLLECTOR

but what would that make Mikado then?

Tatewaki Kuno of a parallel universe as Proctor

He's already been taken care of. Should pop up in three chapters or so.

Hmm . . .
Nabiki as Loki?

Now that is evil. Loki pops up to cause havoc later.

But then why would they each be reincarnated as sisters?
Makes you wonder what goes on in that crazy head of Odin's.

Indeed.

Ok, ok, here's another crazy one:
Minky Momo as NIGHTMARE

Not familiar with Minky Momo.

Keel Lorenze as Korvac?
Who better to be the Mandarin than Nakago?

Oh, there's someone who works in the role quite well.

Ah, and DBZ's Cell as Ultron!

No DB characters. that much I will give away.

Herb as Baron Zemo.

Hmm. I think Keele would be more appropriate there.

Ok, here's some other things. Nit-picks, really.

The reason that Hulk never really quite figured out that he was RBB (the
stupid child-like tantrum throwing one anyway) was because he was all of
RBB's suppressed rage at the world in a seperate personality, long before
the
gamma bomb

He also started out gray, but I'm playing a little loose with fitting some
parts into the Ranma 1/2 verse.

(Let's count the Hulk's personalities!

Ohh. This might take a while. ^_^

Bruce Banner, Hulk SMASH
Hulk, Mr. Fixit Hulk, the combined Bruce-Hulk,

There have been a couple versions of that one.

Maestro, Surly Hulk without
Bruce, Bruce SMASH Bruce,

Heh. Forgot about that brief one.

Mindless Hulk

WAH! Don't remind me of those dark days of the series. Not that the
Banner-Hulk version that led up to it was much better.

(thouth that may be a part of Smash
Hulk),

Nah. Smash Hulk could talk fairly well. Mindless one just grunted for way
too long. Besides. If you do that, you might count the three other
entities/parts of his personality that Mindless Hulk came up with. Glow,
Goblin, and the yellow one with the bow as more parts of his fractured
psyche

and . . .umm . . . I think there's more but I'm not sure). Brucey had
one screwed up life. Now Ryouga does not supress his rage, and I doubt
that
the "trauma" of the Gamma Blast was enough to fracture his mind.

Nah! Just memory problems right now. As you'll see, the Hulk actually
caries a lot of Ryouga's personality.

God help
you if you go the Byrne route, by the way, for the rest of us won't.

You'll see.

One wonder's if a nationistic symbol of Japan during WW2 would react to
"today's" Japan. Probably the same way that Cap SHOULD have reacted to
HUAC
and McCarthyism

Well, as I recall. The paranoid Cap IV was actually from that time period,
which is why they had Cap I and Falcon face off against him and Bucky III
(who went on to become Nomad III).

, though less intense.
And don't you think, in terms of personality, that Hawkeye would have
been
better for Ranma than Cap?

Yeah, but if anyone is the heart of the team, it's Cap. And, as flawed as
he is, Ranma still pretty much idealizes the never give up no matter the
odds attitude Cap has.

Never mind . . .
So until Shampoo says, "By the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth" make mine DB.
EXSELSIOR!

Hehehe. Just for that, your No Prize is in the mail.
