 She ain't THAT crazy

Actually, sugar... she may be (I know that's not a nice thing to say
about your would-be mother-in-law, but c'mon... seppuku? At least
she wouldn't be forcing Ran-chan to go through with it in this story)
Keep in mind what actions/attitudes she considers manly, such as
Ran-chan's apparant voyeurism. She seems to equate certain
(albeit mild) perversions with manliness. Who better to learn such
stuff from than Happi? And he knows martial arts, too (<g> talk
about your *gross* understatements).

Of course, Genma would not be seeking out Happosai (hell, he
thinks he and Soun salted the old freak away behind no small
amount of dynamite, after all), so I doubt the master would even
be on his laundry list of training trips. But *I* think Nodoka-san
might actually welcome his instruction of Ran-chan.

 > She would probably teach him the sword styles she knows as well.

::nod:: That'd render Kuno even *more* impotent; can you see
Ran-chan taking over the kendo club? Better yet, drafted to its
presidency by the other members?

 > Would she make Ranma wait for Ryoga to show up for the fight?

Depends on if Ran-chan tells her about the fight. A duel between
men is probably not something Ran-chan would go running off to
tell either of his folks about... he'd just show up. If she found out,
Nodoka-san would probably insist the duel take place, but give
Ryoga a thorough dressing-down for his lack of punctuality (and
therefore, seeming lack of respect for his opponant)

One thing that worries me... would Nodoka go to Jusenkyou without
investigating it first? I don't think so. But if she doesn't go, the
whole plot is shot, ne? The other possibility that cuts this story
short is if they *do* go, and Ran-chan falls into the Nyanniichuan,
wouldn't SHE then perform seppuku right then and there, possibly
even before discovering the hot water-cold water nature of the
curse?

Just a few thoughts. An intriguing premise, indeed...

Itsu mo,
Ucchan ^_^

(who, now that she thinks of it, would wind up completely
 excluded from this story... Waaaah!!)
