Hello all! This is my second post to the FFML and I had a nice response from
one of you on mu Utena fic. I'll expand that Idea further that it will
include to my crossover. BTW, get ready for the Utena Movie this spring in
Japan and I can't wait for it. Okay, here is my first DBZ fic and I was
inspired to write this after reading on alt.fan.dragonball about on why did
Pan and Bra never reached SSJ form. I guess this is my outtake on it, and if
any of you have ever seen DBGT, this series does not follow that continuity.
Okay, enough rambling and so, the stage is set, the lights blink on and the
curtain rises.

The Legacy

Part 1:A New Beginning
20 years after the battle of Majin Buu
The sun shone brightly, the blue clear sky stretched to the
horizons, ocassionally broken by the cotton candy shaped clouds floating
past it. The sea air intoxicated those who smell it, even from afar, the
unending sea filled with life and hope. On the middle of the ocean, a lonely
island broke the sea, and on it was a house with yellow siding and a red
roof. On top of the doorway there read a sign that said: KAME'S HOUSE and
those who have appeared on it know that it was Kamesennin aka Muten Roshi
lived here. Inside the house was full of life and festivity, the gang
cheerfully celebarting the victory that saved the earth 20 years ago. Bulma
was joking around with Gohan, retelkling stories of his first major battle
and training against the Saiya-jin. Chi-Chi hugging her husband Goku in a
closed embraced, her black hair marred with a few gray hairs, her black eyes
twinkling with admiration. Goku looked at his wife, his spiky hair, his
massive muscles rippling across his red and blue martial arts uniform. Goku
leaned over, softly kissing his wife on the lips. " Has it been 20
years since we defeated Majin Buu? Gosh, I didn't know even it was this
long. " he told his wife.
" Yeah, it has been. You, Gohan, and Goten are the reason you guys gave
me some of my gray hairs, from worrying too much about you. I can't believe
it has been this long since the battle. Now, I enjoy being around a lot more
about you, Goku. You don't have to go on any other earth-crazy missions, you
know. " Chi-Chi said, her soft voice entwinig her husband.
" Still, it was exciting though. I have learned so much from all of the
constant training I had, from Kaio-sama and everybody else. It's still a
pain not to hear his voice in my head. I miss him a lot. " Goku said, with a
little tear swelling up on his eye and slowly, he brushed it off. " I wonder
where Pan is, that grand-daughter of mine is going top give her old gran-dad
more grey hairs than you. "
Chi-Chi snickered at the thought and somehow, he heard Gohan's voice
coming from across the living room, agreeing in unison.
" Same here, Dad. She is 20 minutes late. " Gohan walked over and
Chi-Chi saw that he turned into a fine young man, with the best education
possible. He was handsome, tall, and well educated. Chi-Chi didn't want to
waste the money that she had saved little by little over the years, to put
Gohan into a major university. She finally let up that if he wanted to train
in the martial arts, it was his decision and not hers to make. She saw that
when he trained and fought the Saiya-jin menace and the Frieza menace on
Namek, but she didn't want to accept it. She finally accepted it after all
hell broke loose on Earth and her son alongg with his brother and father
saved the world. After he graduated from Tokyo University, he married his
high school sweetheart, Videl and together they had a beautiful girl named
Pan. She had been taken by the little girl, after having no daughter of her
own, that she officially became her 3rd child, and somehow, she influenced a
lot of things on her, but still, she had some qualities like her father and
grandfather. She smiled at the thougt of seeing her train with her father at
the tender age of 8 , imitating slowly his father's moves, defense and
attacks, and unknowingly to her, she began to learn from it. Chi-Chi smiled
some more whern she heard the doorbell rang.
" I'll get it!" said the old martial arts master and walked over
to the door. He smiled at the young woman who stood in front of her, and he
slowly began to develop a nosebleed from looking at a certain parts near her
top of the abdomen.
" Hi, Muten Roshi! I'm here, sorry that I'm late, had to do some
after school work. " She bowed, smiling her beautiful smile, her deep black
eyes, her black long hair flowing past her shoulder.
" Sure, no problem at all, Pan-Chan. Come on in. " Muten Roshi
stepped aside and she walked in, her graceful figure, lean body covered in a
yellow blouse and a flowery skirt, her red high heel shoes clicking on the
floor, glancing at the gang that was here. Bulma-san, Trunks-san, Goten-san,
Oolong-san, Puar-san, Piccolo-san, Tien-san, Chioutzu-san, Yamcha-san and in
the back corner, Vegeta-san, looked at her with admiration, envy, and
pride. She smiled to everyone and finally saw her dad, mom and grandparents
sitting together on the living room couch. Her father was about to speak
when Videl suddenly cut him off.
" Where have you been, Pan-chan? You was supposed to be here 20
minutes ago. I told you that as soon as you got off from school to meet us
here. Don't tell me that you had a date of some sorts, did you? " Videl
asked paqn, her tone of voice suddenly changing from worryment to
inquierment.
Goku smiled at her, seeing Chi-Chi in her form when he and Gohan
didn't come from missions or chores they both had to do.
" Ahh, you see Mom, I had some sort of Martial Arts show to do at
school and one of my sensei told me if I could stay after school to show his
class the basics of martial arts. I'm sorry if I didn't call earlier because
I was so caught up in my work teaching and showing the class that I
completely forgot about it. " She smiled to her mom, knowing that it was a
little white lie. Her mom didn't.
" Okay, next timeyou better call cause I will personally come
after you, missy. " Videl spoke with a tinge of anger in her voice.
" Videl-chan, don't you think that is a little bit extreme to do
this to Pan? " Gohan asked, with surprise in his voice. Somehow, he knew
that Pan was lying but he was et it pass.
" No it isn't Gohan-kun. Now I know where she gets it from."
" Hoo Boy, not that again Videl. "
Goku couldn't stop chuckling under his breath, seeing that he
sometimes was put into situations with him and Chi-Chi during Gohan's
teenage period. Probably Chi-Chi influenced her thoughths now, Goku
thought. Pan spoke softly to her grand-dad,, a look of worry in her eyes.
" Gran-dad, I want to know something, about you, father, and Uncle
Goten. "
" What is it, Pan-chan? " Goku asked back.
" Can you please tell me, are you a saiya-jin? "
