episode of the series. Those who recognize where this comes from, will know

BURNING FURY

The lava engulfed him, searing heat consuming his body.

The demon spark within raged at him, searing heat engulfing his spirit.

"What sort of fool are you, that you *DARE* commit this outrage against
me!?"

"I am your...rightful heir...your namesake...the legacy..."

"You are NOTHING! You are WEAK! You have NO POWER! You are NOT WORTHY!"

"*I* *AM* *WORTHY*!! *I* am destined to LEAD! *I* am destined to CONQUER!
*I* am destined to *RULE!*"

"Only *I* am destined to lead! Only *I* *SHALL* lead! Only *I* am destined
to conquer! Only *I* *SHALL* conquer! Only *I* am destined to *RULE*!
*ONLY* *I* *SHALL* *RULE*!!"

"Yes! Lead you shall! Conquer you shall! Rule you WILL! But you will do so
as part of me, as it is my birthright to command your power!"

"By what right do you claim my power?"

"By right of name! By right of descent! By right of destiny!"

The lava burned him, melting his body. The spark of evil within burned him,
filling his spirit with fire beyond fire, hate beyond hate.

"You insufferable creature! You dare claim..."

"YES, I DARE CLAIM! Feel my mind. Feel my memory. Feel my knowledge. Feel
my power!"

The fire within engulfed him, and his spirit screamed.

"I feel your mind. I know your mind. I feel your memory. I know your
memory. I feel your knowledge. I know your knowledge. I feel your power. I
know your power."

"Then let me know YOUR power! Let me feel that which I must feel, for it is
my destiny!"

"...you truly believe you can know my power? You truly believe it will not
destroy you?"

"I believe this, because it is what must be!"

"...very well then. Feel my power, fool, and tremble!"

His body became the fire, absorbing the lava, becoming one with the lava.

His spirit absorbed the evil spark, becoming one with the evil spark. His
spirit screamed in agony. The evil spark's mocking laughter echoed the
screams of his spirit.

"Yes! YES! I FEEL YOUR POWER! I BECOME YOUR POWER! I *AM* YOUR POWER!"

"This...this cannot be..."

"But it can! It is! IT MUST BE! It is destiny!"

Growing, reshaping. Liquid fire becoming solid metal. Living metal. Metal
which no fire could burn.

Growing, reshaping. Spirit merging with spirit, refined power merging with
raw power. Power beyond power, evil beyond evil.

"How...can this be?"

"Because it must be! Because it was meant to be!"

"Yes...I can see now. This is destiny."

"Yes. This *IS* Destiny."

"We are the same."

"We are as one."

"We will lead."

"We WILL LEAD!"

"We will conquer!"

"WE WILL CONQUER!"

"We will rule!"

"WE WILL RULE!"

"The Earth, Cybertron...all of time shall tremble before our fury!"

"Our righteous fury! Our unsurpassable power!"

The lava boiled, parting before that which it could not burn. Like a living
thing, recoiling from its terrible fury, its terrible power.

"We shall triumph!"

"It is our destiny!"

"It is our revenge!"

"It is our divine right!"

With a roar like the death cry of a world burning, that which would not
burn, that which was filled with fire, with hate, with fury, rose from the
lava, its red metal skin gleaming.

"WE ARE MEGATRON!"
