Misato, Ritsuko, and Maya were sat around a table with a pack of cards. All 
looked proccupied. Finally Riysuko spoke.

"So, we're all agreed that this has to be done?"

The other two nodded.

"Right. Each of you cut, then me. Lowes card gets the job. Aces High."

Maya took first, then Misato, then Ritsuko.

Maya had an Ace. She definitely wasn't going to do this.

So did Misato.

So did Ritsuko, so they shuffled the pack again, and started over.

Ritsuko got a two.

"...so that's it, Rei. Any questions? Anything you'd like to know?"

"Yes, Akagi-san. Why would I wish to do any of those things? Is it some kind 
of chemical imbalance?"

"In a way, yoe. But it is entirely natural... hell, Maya would be best at 
explaining this bit..."

Ritsuko lectured for about quarter of an hour about love and the biochemical 
effects.

"I see, Akagi-san. May I go?"

"Yes, Rei."

As Rei left, she scribbled something in a notebook.
