Hmm...  Perhaps it's just me, but that seems to be a rather... unusual
demand.  I could be wrong, but I've always thought that fanfic authors
were in debt to their their readers, not the other way around.  

I would say myself that it is a reciprocal relationship; there's no point
in posting a story that will never be read, but if readers hack off the
author enough, they'll never get the story they're wanting.
