fragment that I've been working on, as well :)



Day of Dreams

I walked along the shore, a vast expanse of water, crashing waves 
on my right.

So tempting, so near...

And yet so very very far.

Walking along the shore, watching those I love.
One walking beside me, on my left, farther from the water we both 
long.
One walking...wading...in the cool water, playing in its cheerful 
grasp.
One ahead of us all...running towards the water, never getting any 
closer.

Two more there should be, but alas, I can not see them.

Water, wind, waves...forever on, never ending.
Walking along the shore.
