Another installment. I don't quite know what to make of these:
lemon without being erotic. They are well done, but I am not sure
if I like them. At least you're not shorting the complexities of
real people in relationships like this, with all the possessiveness
and petty jealousies. Anyway:

Following this was a crudely-drawn map, giving a few major
landmarks and some arrows which might be compass directions. The
village and Jusenkyou were clearly marked, as was the coast, some ways
away from both of them. A few other dots might be villages, some
squiggles might be rivers. She hoped Ranma had got the distances
correct. Now, what did she need to bring...

>From a quick glance at the map and some eyeballing, the Bayankala
range (Bayan Har Shan) is a minimum of 800 miles from the coast,
in any direction (Dhaka, in Bangladesh; Tianjin; and a point south
of Qingdao at the border between Jiangsu and Shandong provinces).
It is farther from the most likely entry points by air, those being
Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. The map, as described, is
completely inplausible. I would suggest you replace "the coast"
in the above description with a major city such as Chengdu or Xining.
