HIIIDEY-HO!

        As the subject line suggests, here's the progress on my fics so far:

        Jet Moto
        Chapter five is in the planning stages, but so far, development is a
bit slow. I'll start writing it once the latest installment of Preying
Angels is done. Speaking of which:

        Preying Angels
        Chapter seven is the biggest yet, and it's almost done! I just have
to finish the last scene, and I'll send it out. Pre-readers, look for
something in the next week, I PROMISE! =)

        Now for the ideas department:

        The fanfic formerly known as Hail of Bullets. 
        All right, I've tried this twice, and it still hasn't worked. I
still get responses saying that the yakuza wouldn't do what I've had them
do. Given my latest findings on Yakuza activities, I'll try it this way:

        Ukyo had to take out a loan to lease the building which houses the
Ucchan, but what bank in Japan would loan that kind of money to a sixteen
year old girl? Nearly penniless, she went to someone somewhat less reputable
than a solid financial institution.

        Ucchan's had been making enough to keep up the payments, but what
would happen when Mr. Sanzaki decides to hike up the interest rate, oh, say
100%?

        Now, I'll leave out the guns, given how much I got chewed for having
them last time. Besides, I really don't want to start a dead horse thread
and wind up banned... After all, who's to say the yaks don't have enforcers
skilled in dangerous forms of armed and unarmed combat?

        I'll take one more crack at this, and if it doesn't go this time,
I'll drop the damned thing and pass it off to whoever wants it...

        Downward Spiral: Aftermath.
        Not much on this one. It's a sequel taking place a year after the
first Downward Spiral, and has to deal with the anniversary of Ryoga's
suicide. On the back burner for now.

        This next one is a Ranma/Mortal Kombat fusion. Ranma gets an
invitation to Shang Tsung's tournament, and learns of how much rides on
victory. Not sure if I want to follow the movie or game continuity. Opinions
would be appreciated. =)
