This is my second fic, but I figured I'd start with a short one and see
the response.

In all my fics:
    "This is spoken"
    'This is thought'

Great, simple yet does a straight forward story...now, use this as a
stepping stone in making a more varied fic, or improving your style in
writing / telling a story...don't confine yourself in being a straing WAFF
fic, or a straight serious fic, add a little of WAFF, a hint of comedy, a
twist of satire then all's well...
