	LCL.  A huge puddle of it.  The remains of Ikari Gendo.
	Rei stared at it emotionlessly, her entire body perfectly
still.  Where were the others?  What did it matter?
	She got to her knees on the edge of the puddle.  First it was
one pale finger, tracing designs in the orange goo, then her entire
hand.
	With a handful of liquified Gendo, she slowly rubbed it across
her chest, showing no reaction at all to the slimey cool fluid on her
skin.
	Rei turned, twisting slowly, and laid down in the puddle, as
if she were about to make a snow angel.  Then she began, rolling in
the LCL, rubbing it all over her body, smearing it across her neck, on
her cheeks, her stomach, reaching down between her legs...
	Still, she showed no emotion.
	Across her breasts and in her hair, she writhed in the remains
of her only father figure.
	One finger slipped between her lips and she licked it clean,
feeling the slippery pleasure creep up into every joint, every fold of
skin of her body, sliding between her toes, under her fingernails,
even in her ears.
	It was a sensation that she would have liked to explore
further, but she could not.
	She stopped her movement, laying on the floor on her back.
Staring up at the ceiling, she blinked slowly.  A smile flickered
across her lips.
	Sitting up, she turned and got on her hands and knees.
Slowly, Rei leaned her head down to the fluid and touched her lips to
it, kissing it softly.
