A Human Super Saiyajin

Chapter 2.

The Arrival of the Androids

The sky was clear and cloudless. The sun, a blazing orange in color,
radiated its serenity. Augmenting the feeling of doom that surrounded
those who were gathered on top of a cliff over-looking a small city.

Piccolo cast his gaze over the city. His thoughts was a confused
jumble. <What am I doing here?> he thought. <What happened to my plan
of world domination?> Ever since the arrival of the Saiyajin's,
Piccolo had undergone a change. A change that he would have called
weak, if not for the fact that he was stronger now than he or his
predecessor had ever been.

Piccolo shifted his gaze to those gathered around him. Gokou, Gohan,
and Kurrilin stood off to his side, while Yamcha and Tenshin-han stood
a few paces behind them. Bulma was busy admiring the view, while
holding baby Trunks in her arms.

When his eyes rested on Gohan, his expression softened and a smile
threatened to appear on his face. The boy was so young, yet he
possessed a power and determination that Piccolo envied.

Piccolo's thoughts were interrupted when he sensed someone's
approach. He cleared his throat and with a confident voice said,
"Someone's coming this way, someone not evil."

Everyone looked toward the sky. "Eh, is it Vegetta?" Gohan asked.

Kurrilin looked at Gokou's son with a shocked expression. "Gohan,
Vegetta is definitely evil."

Off in the distance a hover craft appeared. Flying silently through
the air and landing just a few feet from where the warriors stood.
The hatch opened and Yajirobe nimbly jumped to the ground, landing in
a crouched position.

He stood up quickly and with his sword in hand, approached the
warriors. "Phew! I didn't think I'd make it before the fighting
started."

"Yajirobe, your going to fight too?" Gokou asked a little shocked.
He knew Yajirobe was strong, but he'd never really seen him fight.
This could be fun.

"Uh," Yajirobe fell silent when he saw the eager expression on
Gokou's face. "I've brought senzu beans from Master Karin," he said,
changing the subject.

"Wow! That's great!" said Gokou as he accepted the bag of beans and
weighed them in his hands.

Seeing Gokou preoccupied, Yajirobe quickly hopped back onto his
hovercraft and started the engine. The vehicle slowly floated into
the air. "Well, bye! Good luck!" he yelled.

Gokou looked up from examining the senzu, eyes widening in surprise.
"Huh? You're not going to stay and fight?" he asked in a somewhat
disappointed tone.

"I'm not as stupid as you are, I don't want to die." Yajirobe
snorted. He pressed a button on the steering wheel and the canopy
closed. With a low hum, the hovercraft flew away.

"He wouldn't have been much use anyway," Piccolo said annoyed. "at
least he gave us the senzu."

  "hmmm that's strange," Tenshin-han observed, gathering everyone's
attention. "It's past 10:00 and I still can't feel our enemy's ki."

In the distance, the hover craft exploded. "What the hell was that?!"
Kurrilin exclaimed. "On, no! Yajirobe!"

"Everyone, watch out!" Piccolo yelled over the explosion. "Someone is
attacking!"

Roshi, breathed a sigh of contentment. This was the life. He sat
comfortably on his chair, eyes wide behind his sunglasses as he
watched the newest release of Debbie comes to China.

It was just getting to the juicy part, when the phone in the other
room rang. With a mutter of annoyance, he wiped the drool from his
face and put the movie on pause before he walked into the next room
and picked up the phone. "Hello," he said with an edge to his voice,
not very successful at hiding his annoyance.

"Why Kamesenin, did I catch you at a bad time?" the ancient female
voice on the other end asked with a hint of laughter.

"Eh? No, no you didn't." Roshi answered nervously. The voice sounded
familiar. "May I ask who's calling?"

"Kamesenin, I'm disappointed. I would have thought my Roshi-kun
would still remember my voice."

Roshi's eyes, widened in recognition and his face brightened into a
toothy grin. "Co--Cologne! It's you! How've you been? Where are you?
What are--"

He was cut off by the sound of her laughter. "One question at a
time, Roshi-kun. I'm doing fine, though my future son-in-law has been
giving me some problems."

"Eh, son-in-law?" Roshi asked, genuinely confused.

"Yes, he defeated my great-granddaughter. You know Amazon law."
Cologne's voice fell silent.

"Yes, I suppose I do." Roshi replied, in a quiet voice. A lump had
grown in his throat, and he found it hard to even breath. "Listen,
Cologne, I'm--"

"That was a long time ago, Roshi-kun," Cologne said, once again
cutting him off before he could finish his sentence. "The reason why I
have called is of a different matter."

  "And that would be?"

Cologne sighed heavily, Roshi could hear her steady breathing. "For
the past few months, my sleep has been interrupted by dreams. Dreams
so vivid and real that I no longer doubt that they are premonitions of
the future. Something evil is sleeping, waiting for its time to
awaken."

----

The wind blew fiercely against Ranma's back as he braced himself along
the tower wall. <Why in the world would they build a tower this
tall?> he asked himself. He looked down briefly and a chill ran down
his spine when he realized just how high up he was. Even Ryouga, with
his breaking point training, wouldn't survive a fall from this height.

He wondered again why he was climbing this stupid tower and his
father's words rang in his head. <Ranma! You must climb that tower,
there's magical water up there that will give you great strength and
speed. As heir...>

The climb had nearly taken him all night. By dawn, he finally
reached the top of the tower. He crawled through a hole on the floor,
into a small room and dropped onto the carpet. His breathing was heavy
and his muscles were tired and sore. With a long deep breath, Ranma
closed his eyes. He would have fallen asleep, but his stomach growled
in protest.

"Man, I'm hungry," Ranma said to the empty room. "I wonder if
there's anything to eat." He searched the room, but except for a
bathtub, a bed and some pots, the room was empty. <hmmm. I wonder
where the magic water is?>

As if an answer to his question, a voice from above yelled. "Up
here! Come all the way up here!"

"Huh?" Ranma looked around, spotting no one. "Who's there?"

"Climb the stairs out on the balcony and come up here." Not knowing
what else to do, Ranma followed the voice until he reached the very
top of the tower. What he saw froze the blood in his veins.

"Hello, I'm Master Karin," the large cat carrying a wooden staff
greeted.

----

Happossai flew through the barren wasteland at speeds that seemed
impossible for a shrunken old man. His face wore a mask of fear, and
his breathing came in heavy gasps as he tapped into his reserves of
ki, trying to maintain his rapidly failing body. He made a frightened
glance backwards. He couldn't see his pursuer, but his senses screamed
that it was close. Perhaps watching and biding its time like a snake
stalking it's prey.

Happossai came to a screeching halt when his pursuer appeared in
front of him. His eyes widened in horror. Never before had he felt
such power. Power that seemed to swallow him in its essence. The
tangible feeling of ki seemed to electrify the air, and Happossai was
unable to move or speak in its presence.

The creature's armor-like skin was a vegetable green, marked with
black dots everywhere. His scorpion like tail swung lazily as he
looked at Happossai with a sardonic grin. "You gave me quiet a
surprising chase old man. It's time that I reward you for waking me."

With speed faster than human eyes could follow, the creature thrust
the tip of his tail straight through the ancient martial artist's
heart. The pain was unbearable, and Happossai's cries could be heard
for miles, but in the barren wastelands of China, there was no one
around to hear him.

A cold and hallow laughter escaped the creature's lips when he felt
the power of this old man become his. The intoxicating flavor of
energy that filled his veins was like an addictive nectar. He would
find more humans to increase his power and when it grew enough, he
would be ready to confront the two entity's he needed in order to
transform into his perfect form.

End Chapter 2.

Author's Notes:

Well Chapter 2 is finished. I have been emailed by some saying that my
title is contradictory. That by definition, a Super Saiyajin must
first be a Saiyajin. I know this. But I have no other way to title
it. Ranma and Co. are not Saiyajin's in my story. But Ranma and
Ryouga's fused form will be able to transform into a golden haired
warrior much like a Super Saiyajin.

I don't really want to explain too much because it will give away most
of my plot, but if you're curious, I guess you'll just have to read
the following chapters to find out. ^_-

Also, this is an alternate-DBZ Universe. After Trunks arrival, Gokou
offered to train with Vegitta, and unlike canon, Vegitta accepted,
hoping to study Gokou and find the secret to become a SSJ.

I don't know when Chapter 3 will be out. My schedule is kind of
hectic, and I am also working on my other fics. Chapter 2 of To Temp
Fate should be out soon. As well as Chapter 2 of Blood Feud.

On a side note, I'm basing the location of DBZ in China. I don't think
that the Manga or Anime really says where the characters are at, but
this just makes it more convenient for myself.

As always, C&C is appreciated.
