I hope the issue I'm about to address is
not a banned one. If it is, my sincere apology to
FFML. And if anyone wants to argue with me about this,
which I doubt since it's not an important issue,
please respond privately.

	One problem I have with this idea is that
Ranma characters won't be helpless against modern
weaponary, in my opinion.

	In issue of guns, Kachu Tenshin Amaguriken
seems to be far faster, so characters like Ranma and
Cologne can probably block, parry or catch the bullets.

	Even if they can't do that, they could probably
dodge the shots without too much difficulty. Remember
how Ranma dodged Kuno's rapid thrusts? How many
characters of R1/2 would be as fast as he was when
that occured (volume 1 of 38)? Ryoga, Mousse, Happosai,
Tarou (in human form), to name a few.

	Finally, even if they are hit, the effect
probably won't be lethal. Kirin's hundred-chopsticks
attack had an effect similar to a shotgun, and no
Ranma character, even a weak one like Kuno, was injured
seriously. And what about Hiryu Kourindan, which was
strong enough to destroy a mountain? Herb survived
without any permanent injury.

	How is this possible? My theory is that ki is
used to enhance a fighter's strength or speed (like
battle auras), and thus, ki is also used to form an
"armor" around one's body. Thus, even dangerous moves
like Happo Daikarin, Kijin Raishudan, Hitou Ryuzantou,
and Hiryu Shoutenha can be taken without fatal
consequences... if the victim is good enough, that is.

	This is my opinion, so you can laugh or scoff
at it as you please. I simply wanted to point out that
given indications in original, Ranma characters won't
be powerless against guns and such. Thank you.
