[...] I can
see a fic where Kasumi keeps Ranma and Akane apart but at the same time tries
to give Ranma the basic feelings of love and compassion that he should have
gotten as a child. While "training" (i.e. teaching Ranma how to care for
people) Kasumi begins to fall in love with him because of her compassion and
she sees that deep, down inside Ranma is still like an innocent and sweet
child who loves everyone and does not like hurting people. I think the
Ranma-Kasumi-Akane love triangle is a great one and it would also be funny to
see Kasumi treat Genma more and more harshly as her love for Ranma grows.
Uh, and why is Ranma so deserving of love and help, while Genma is not?
Presumably Genma had the same problems growing up that he has foisted on
Ranma. Kasumi's trying to help Ranma avoid a heredeary problem, but Genma
just gets the blame for the same problem?!?
