Actually, this is a major concern, but not in the way that you two think.
Unless the connection into Ysadgril is right there at the ISP dialup Nabiki
and Ranma are using, its going to have to go through one or more routers to
get there, and that invalid IP would bounce, even if it is a YP address, wich
I will allow could have greater than a 255, because the ROUTERS know there
shouldnt be a number greater than 255.

File this under "suspension of disbelief". Sometimes being technical
for technical's sake isn't a good thing. Is it too hard to believe
that Kami-sama can't just say "Err ok, this IP is a magical IP"? I
mean, for frack's sake, he is GOD after all.
P.S. Since you're being technical, I feel a need to clarify, and also
be technical. This is a perfectly valid address in IPv6, which
allows for 128-bit addresses - which is 2^96 more than IPv4. If
you go with the old quad-type addressing you can have addresses
like such:
4294967296.4294967296.4294967296.4294967296
(32 bits per quad, 128 bits in the entire address)
which is more than big enough to allow frickin 299 for the mystical
TCP/YP connection to Yggdrasil. More and more routers every day
support and route IPV6 traffic. So basically what I'm telling you
is a) it's perfectly possible and b) this argument is moot. So lay
off of the poor guy already :)
And by the way - Do a traceroute to that address. Most routers/
machines/etc will simply subtract 256 if the address is over
256 (so 299 becomes, say, 43).
(p.p.s. an interesting sidenote about IPv6: Forecasting pessimistic,
incredible, mind blowing usage of the new addresses, IPv6 still
allows for 1,564 unique IP's per square meter of the earth's surface.
That's a lot of addresses :P )
