For the record, Urd is _not_ the Goddess of Love, Cupid of Love or any
such diety.  She is the Goddess of the Past.  That is all she has domain
over.  Granted she likes to dabble in other fields and self-proclaims
herself as a Cupid but she is not.

I think someone once posted the name of the real Nordic Goddess of Love.
Does anyone remember it?

Astrild, Goddess of Love.
Lofn, Goddess of "Forbidden" Love.
Sjofn, Goddess of Passion and "Human" Love.
Frigg, Parton of Marriage and Motherhood, also a Goddess
       of Love & Fertility.
Freya, Parton of Crops and Birth, Symbol of Sensuality,
       also a Goddess of Love and Fertility.

It should be noted, Frigg and Freya are sometimes considered to be the same
Goddess.

How's that for a nice, clear answer?
