Well, that's about it. Like I said, the story is okay, neither bad
nor
exceptional. It had good parts and bad parts. Also, there appears
to
be some consistency problems brought about by the different authors.
It's not jarring, but it is visible, and without looking too hard.

I think the authors would have done better to make the parts more
episodic. The best episode, IMO, with Akane, stands almost
completely
alone. The other parts are strung together. In the worst case, the
author who *started* to make Ukyo's wish seems to have dropped the
ball in the next author's lap.

This leads to "corrections" and retcons by later authors.

One other comment I have. Apparently anyone who saw Happosai's demon
gets to make a wish. Do we ever find out who this list of people is?

Well, that's it. Let's see how it all ends.
Later,

Wow. A lot of C&C from you MacDougall-san. Quite a bit of it. And,
I'd like to thank you for it, and not only for myself, but for my
collagues who decided to try this for a first time. Needless to say,
it was a first time, and you can tell it's a first time.

Of course, as first times go, this wasn't any different. I think all
of us involved are a little wiser now than when we started. We had a
lot of fun doing this thing, but it also was fairly painstaking,
trying to make sure that people's previous bits of continuity weren't
disrupted, or that it wasn't left hanging.

Needless to say, we more or less botched that part up. As you've
pointed out before, it wasn't hard to point out holes inthe
continuity of the fic. Mousse's transformation, Gos's rather dark
death, and a whole list of things can be pointed out as individual
chapters that got strung together to try to create some kind of uber-
fic for everyone enjoyment.

I'd also like to point out, on that note, that at least for those
involved, it was fun and we did enjoy it. Granted, a few things came
out of the woodwork that we didn't expect and probably (as a group)
would not have liked to have seen happen, but these things happen
when you do it unrehearsed, so to speak. I still think it was a
grand and great effort.

Kudos, to all of my partners in crime (if you can call this fic a
crime, that is... o.o;;;). I really enjoyed the challenge of
working the entire thing out. The next collaborative fic I ever do
will be very different, and will most likely work out very
differently logistically - for fairly obvious reasons.

It's a mixed bag when you have a large number of people try to get
together to do this sort of thing. I think it was a lot of fun, and
if you really really think about it, you can tell who wrote what
(well, if you knew all of us and our writing styles). I think that's
really the most fun about this entire fic. I can still read the
entire thing through, and still pick out the individual writing
styles.

I just wish that we could have the same kind of interaction on this
ML like we did writing the fic. Perhaps we do and I'm just missing
it. Maybe the ML doesn't, but I think the ML is heading towards the
right direction.  We just need more fics to be posted.  ^_^;;

Again, MacDougall-san, thank you for the C&C. I would recommend that
those who actually read the fic or anyone who was remotely interested
inthe fic come to the FFIRC channel (bachman.newberry.edu:6667
#fanfic). Not as a shameless way of plugging the channel, but so
that if you really feel so compelled, you can see who wrote what, and
get to know the people who wrote what they did, maybe find out why
they wrote what they did, and see what they have in store for
everyone next, ne.

That's enough mindless ranting and raving from me. I need sleep, and
I need to get back to work.

Ja matta ne minna.
