Author's notes:
Inspired by several people who liked the Ranma/Nuku idea and someone's
adfic signature,
I thought I could expand on the idea I included in my fic series "One Ranma
is trouble 
enough..." Please note though that,  I'll be following the OAV here more
closely than I wanted to.  


All purpose Jusenkyo cat-girl RankoRanko - Episode 00 (Rough Draft)

The peace of the night was broken as the roar of the jets from Poison One
echoed through 
out the streets of Neo Tokyo.

"Ah! Shampoo found run-away husband of Nodoka-sama, Shampoo give Ukyou
place where 
he at..." Shampoo exclaimed from where she sat in front of Poison One's
radar station.

"Roger!" Ukyou replied from the pilot's seat as she pushed on the control
lever as Poison One 
descended from the clouds as it began to swoop down towards it's prey...

On the streets of Neo Tokyo, a lone land rover roared through the streets.
Light from the 
lampposts on the streets bouncing off dull grey steel.

"Genma you idiot! How can you expect to out run that chopper!" Ryouga cried
from the 
passenger seat as a small white and black cat sat peacefully on his lap.

"Shut up boy! This was the only thing available at the time!"

"Liar! You were just lazy to go over there, I could have gotten us a hover
car at the Aero-tech 
facility in no time!"

"And have you lost! You can't even find your own zipper to pee, less find
the correct way to 
the hanger in time!"

"It was all your fault I have this lousy sense of direction! Giving me that
experimental drug 
that was supposed to increase my senses, only to have my sense of direction
wiped out! 
You didn't even spare my kitty here..." Ryouga replied holding up his cat
as it meowed to 
him softly. "Don't worry, Ranko/Ranma I won't let dad put anymore
experimental drugs on 
you. I'll beat out a cure from him for that experimental Jusenkyo water he
put on you...I'll 
never let him hurt you again..." He mentally whispered to his cat as it
meowed softly to 
him from his lap.

"So alright, I screwed up, but I did it in the name of science!"

Ryouga was about to curse him when he felt a slight tingle at the back of
his brain as the 
hairs on his back began to stand on end as he cautiously pushed his head
out of the window 
to stare out at the sky behind them.

"Well don't look now, but I think they've found us..." Ryouga replied as he
pulled  his head 
back in, hugging his cat thighter to him.

"What!" Genma cried as he hazard to look and saw Poison One lining up to
take a shot. 

"Damn!" he cursed as he stepped on the pedal full.

"Looks like they see us..." Shampoo pointed out.

"That's just fine with me..." Ukyou replied as she pressed the trigger,
spraying round after 
round of armor piercing bullets at her target, before roaring off and
turning for another run.

***

"Argh damn it! Can't this piece of junk go any faster!" Ryouga cried shaken
from his seat. 
Genma was clearly sweating as he drove on.

"Damn those hostile chicks!" He said as he turned the rover to enter a dump
site as he swerved 
around stack upon stack of flattened cars and wished that they won't be
joining them soon. 
Too late he thought as he spotted the chopper swooping down in front of
them and saw the 
spray of bullets headed towards them.

"Oh shit!" He cried as Ryouga screamed beside him as they both ducked in
their seats. 
Shielding the faces with their arms as the hood of the rover popped open
with a cloud of 
smoke as the wind shield shattered before them. as the rover rammed a pile
of stacked 
cars. Stopping dead, as several cars piled on top of their's.

"Oh shit!" Ukyou exclaimed as she watched the smoking wreckage of the rover
underneath 
a pile of flattened cars.

"Hmm, Nodoka-sama not going to like this..." Shampoo said beside her as she
too began to 
worry about what they would say to Nodoka as they gave the scene one last
look as they both 
sighed as Ukyou sadly, worriedly, turned the chopper around as they headed
back to Mishima 
HQ and Nodoka's anger upon hearing the news.

>From the smashed up rover, Genma started to wake up as he shook his head a
few times 
to shake off the cobwebs as his mind began functioning again. Just in time
too, as he heard 
the distinct cries of someone weeping as slowly turned his head, startled
at what he saw 
next...

Ryouga sat there bent over his pet, tears falling freely from his eyes as
it fell on his cat's blood 
soaked fur. It felt really uncomfortable then, seeing his bull-headed son
of sixteen years in 
such a condition that he wisely shut up. Knowing all too well, how valuable
that cat meant 
to his son even as it lay ding in his son's arms. His pet, friend and
companion whenever he 
felt lost or was lost...

"It's all my fault..." Ryouga whispered in between sobs.

"No Ryouga, don't blame yourself-" Genma tried to comfort but was silence
as Ryouga 
expressed his hurt.

"NO! I shouldn't have brought her here- It's all my fault!" Ryouga cried as
he wept harder.

Genma sat there quietly as he thought of a way to comfort his son, none
came to mind as 
he his eyes began to survey the vehicle. It was totally wrecked he thought
as he pulled out 
a cigarette form his pocket and lighted it. Taking a puff and exhaling it
out before he noticed 
something lying in the back seat of his rover. It lay there, staring at him
with those empty 
eyes, the reason why he left Mishima and was out here standing in the
freezing cold of the 
night with his son...The NK-1124 project, he thought...

He took another puff from his cigarette and exhaled as he turned around to
face his son...

"Ryo-chan, don't cry..."

"Father..." Ryouga whispered, hope sparking in his eyes. He knew all too
well that look, 
the one he rarely ever saw, the only one he ever trusted...

"Don't worry, Ryo-chan, everything's going to be fine..." Genma said, and
Ryouga somehow 
felt that it would be. In the long run...

The sun was bright in the morning sky, the events of that night long
forgotten in the weeks 
that passed since that faithful day. Children laughed and smiled as they
played around a 
busted old rover as it sat there parked near an apartment complex where
Genma Natsume, 
Ryouga Natsume and a new red-haired girl  resided...

"Wake, up! Wake, Up!, Wake, Up! Time to get up!" cried a cute female voice
from inside the 
apartment accompanied by some weird metallic clapping...

"Time to get up Ryouga" cried a red haired, blue-eyed girl as she walked
into the room where 
Ryouga was sleeping in, curled on top of his bed. The girl smiled brightly
as she saw him and 
threw aside the pan she held as she yanked the covers off the boy's body
who shivered 
involuntarily from the morning cold. 

"Mmm..." Ryouga murmured in his sleep as RankoRanko frowned a little at
finding him still 
sleeping as she shook his body a little.
 
"Ryouga... it's morning...it's morning Ryouga..." she whispered in his ear.
Ryouga mumbled 
something incoherently as he continued sleeping. She smiled as an idea came
to mind as 
she ran out of the room.

Ryouga continued to sleep peacefully when she returned with a bucket and
dumped it on him.

"Argh cold! Ranko? Why!" Ryouga screamed as he sat right up and stared up
at her disarming 
smile. He sat there motionless, all anger drained from him as Ranko replied
"Good morning!" as 
she began folding his blanket and laid it neatly on top of his bed before
handing him a toothbrush 
and smiled.

He took the toothbrush as she watched her smile and leave as he sat there
for a while thinking 
before he finally sighed and got up to prepare for school.

"Papa-san? It's morning..." RankoRanko said as she peeked through the crack
given by opening 
the lab door before she pushed it open and walked in.

"Papa-san? Papa-san you'll be late."

"Yeah, yeah..." Genma replied as he typed away on his computer before
taking another puff 
on his cigarette.

"Papa-san what are you doing?" RankoRanko asked as she stood beside the
Genma and 
looked at the screen, hands pressed firmly on the table as she read what
was on it.

"It's done!" Genma cried as he rubbed his cigarette on Ranko's hand
unawares. She stood 
there unfazed by it still reading. 

"Oh, hi Ranko..." Genma's cheerful reply died as she noticed the still
smoking bud of the 
cigarette on Ranko's hand.

"Ahh...RankoRanko..." 

"Hmm?" RankoRanko asked as she looked at Genma a bit confused. 

"Your hand..." Genma stated simply, pointing at the still smoking bud on
her hand.

"Ahh..." Ranko exclaimed as she laughed.

"OUCHHHHHHH-CHUUU!"

Ryouga still in the bathroom, screamed in surprise.
 
***

"Was that all right?"

"A...a...a..." Genma said, hands still pressed firmly on his ears.

***        
Outside...

"Ryouga...what is that?" RankoRanko asked as she pointed at the motorbike
Ryouga 
straddled.

"Oh this, it's a motorbike..."

"Motorbike..." She repeated still not sure. 

"Here..." Ryouga offered her the manual as Ranko flipped trough the pages.
She smiled 
once she read through it.

"Waii, can RankoRanko try?" 

Ryouga thought about it for a moment and smiled as he moved back a little
and offered 
the space in front of him for Ranko who happily complied as she sat in
front of him. Once 
comfortably settled, she turned the handle bars a few times as she felt the
engine roar 
underneath her.

"Now Ranko, be careful not to-" He didn't have time to finish as Ranko
released the break 
and turned the handlebars full, making the bike scream as it roared out of
the driveway and 
onto the street. Ryouga screamed as he clung to her for dear life...

"PAPAAA!"

After avoiding the morning rush, leaping over cars, speeding down the
highway and taking a few 
'short cuts' , Ryouga and Ranko arrived through the gates of Ryouga's high
school as Ranko 
turned and slid the bike to a stop as the student body just stared at them
in surprise... 

"Here we are Ryouga..." RankoRanko said as she turned off the bike. Ryouga
shakily got off the 
bike as Ranko hopped off it unaffected.

"That was fun, can RankoRanko and Ryouga-chan do it again?"

"Ahh, no more Ranko, we have to get to class..."

"Class..."

"School Ranko..."

"Oh! Can we be classmates?"

"Yeah, sure..." Ryouga replied, unsure. Though he knew that Genma worked
here, and that fact 
assured him a bit as he half listened to Ranko who continued on talking
happily.

"RankoRanko going to meet a lot of friends, and Ryouga too is going to..."

Ryouga just smiled as he listened...

a little crazy during exam week.
