People who send you private mail often say things that they don't want

said in

public, for whatever reason. That's their prerogative, and you are

taking it

away from them if you post their comments in a public forum without

their

permission.********

   Aren't they taking that away themselves if they send it? By sending

it, you lose

the right to decide what happens to it, and it is likely to evoke a

response, be it

private or public. In most cases, I myself like it when people settle

their matters

privately, but in cases such as these, public can be helpful (letting

people know

that posting "top ten" list may be a no-no). I just feel this is more of a

personal

matter than a problem.

Private e-mail is private e-mail. Period. Unless someone is being
unnecessarily abusive, to the point where you have a legitimate complaint
against them with their ISP, in general, if someone sends you a private
e-mail, it's not your place to post it anywhere you feel like. That's a
violation of netiquette, common courtesy, and privacy.
