This was another one hour fic, inspired by a certain fanfic cliche.
Multitudes of fics postulate Genma as having made zillions of fiancee
arrangements for Ranma as a child, even though he only did this *once*
in the original series (and that was clearly Ukyo's father's idea) and
it's rather unbelievable that hordes of parents would be eager to engage
their daughters to the son of someone as disreputable-looking as Genma.

In the manga, right after Ranma's fight with Ukyo, when Genma 
tells Ranma that Ukyo is indeed his fiancee, she says "You took our 
cart and ran.  You cast me aside just as you had Ranma's previous 
fiancee."  So it seems that Genma did it more than once.  (But having
not read the rest of the manga past viz GN#12, I can't say whether
or not we find out who the "previous fiancee" is, or if any other
reference to her is made).

	She's refering to the Tendo engagement.  When Ukyo's father brought 
up the question of engagement Genma said that Ranma was engaged, Ukyo's 
father countered by saying that he had planed to offer the Yatai as a 
dowery, to which Genma responded that he accepted.  Ukyo's aware that Ranma 
had an existing engagement which Genma had discarded for the Yatai, she 
just didn't know that it was Akane at the time she made that comment.
