to to Ranma, that's the way things work, right?

Honestly, seems to me the challenge is TO Akane... now, perhaps Akane beat
a demon two years before Ranma showed up, and it wants to come and claim
vengeance?  And said demon takes the form of, say, Akane?
 (If Akane is fighting something that looks like Akane, for example, this
might make sense- and honestly, that's what it LOOKED like, to me...)
