	Ami Mizuno returned home after a hard day of both studying and
defeating monsters as her alter-ego Sailor Mercury. However, as soon as
she stepped through the door way, she noticed something was wrong.

	Both of her parents were seated around the living room table, it looked
like they had been waiting for her to return. Their faces were grim as
they motioned for her to sit down as well. Sitting besides them was a
middle-aged man and an unconscious black-haired youth.

	"Ami," her mother began, before stopping as if she wasn't sure how to
continue. "I...guess it's about time I told you. You're not our own
daughter, but a daughter of a very good friend of ours..."

	Ami blinked. "What?" she asked softly, not sure if she had heard
correctly.

	"Our friend died in a car accident, along with your father and two
elder sisters...only you survived and since we were already your
god-parents...we decided to take you in.  You were too young at that
time to remember...Your real name is actually Akane Tendo. And this,"
she paused before pointing towards the black-haired youth, "is Ranma
Saotome, your fiancee."
