Ummm... have you ever seen Batman get mad and furious enough in a fight or
duel to create enough hot chi for 'Hiryu Shoutenha' to work? ^_^ Hmmm....
maybe that's why Ranma taunts most of the time in a duel ^_~

Yes, all you have to do to get the Batman ( or Bruce) mad
is to threaten small children or his special friends (Dick,
Barbara, Jason, Alfred ).
That is one reason he taunts, another is if they lose
control he wins easier. A lot of people have suggested that
he is really trying to teach Martial Arts to his special
opponets by example and using his dad's style of teaching.
Look at the way Genma teaches, taunting Ranma to get him to
improve.

I agree with you, this is an alternate unverse, made more so
by having that wish granted. The result is that neither the
Batman series is strickly accurate nor the Ranma series. In
this universe super -powers exist ( they mentioned Superman)
so Ranma may find himself fighting Kryptonians with martial
arts and/or magic. The only thing the authors can't do, is
what they don't want to, otherwise, Anything Goes.

If violence is not solving your
problems you're just not using enough of it.

anything. I
 can't believe that."
