I was thinking about writing a Cityhunter/Ranma fanfic, and came up with two 
possiblities. I was hoping if I could have your opinion on these ideas.

1) This happens before Jusenkyo for Ranma. As for Cityhunter, I don't know.
Ranma and Genma are traveling through Shinjuku. Coincidently, several thefts 
have arisen. Cityhunter is hired by a neighborhood to stop the theif. Since 
Ryo and Kaori are desparate for a job, they take it up. Saeko also comes to 
Ryo with a problem about museum goods that had hidden daimonds being stolen.
Soon, the thief is identified as Genma who also has one of the stolen museum 
goods. Ranma, not wanting his father to get arrested for something he didn't 
do, fights Ryo. Saeko comes in the middle of the match to tell Ryo that Genma 
was not the original robber. Saeko proposes that Ranma helps them. In return, 
Genma doesn't go to jail for the petty thefts.

2) This takes place after Jusenkyo for Ranma. Not exactly sure how far 
afterwards. 
As for Cityhunter, probably a little after Ryo's partner dies. 
Kaori is visiting the only relative of her brother known to her. This happens 
to be Soun Tendo(ever wonder wher Akane learned to use mallets?). Ryo also 
tags along because Saeko wants Ryo to check out the illegal gambling 
activities in Nerima. 


That's all that I've thought up right now. Think I should actually pursue one 
of these ideas? Are they just trash?
