The most notable example of a novel written in the second person that 
I can think of is _If on a Winter's Night a Traveller_ by Italo 
Calvino, which begins with you going into a bookshop and buying a copy 
of _If on a Winter's Night a Traveller_ by Italo Calvino.

There's also a 1980 British dystopian SF novel by Keith Roberts, 
_Molly Zero_.  This is the first paragraph:

"You're shivering inside your coat.  It's a nice coat: brand new, an 
olive green mac.  Belt cinched tight and collar turned up, very 
military.  It makes you look good, but it can't stop the shakes.  You 
drive your fists deeper into the pockets and hunch your shoulders. 
You tell yourself there's nothing to worry about, it's only 
Decentralization, it happens to everybody.  But that doesn't help much 
either.  You're Molly Zero, and you're scared to death."
