OK it's not a Ranma crosses into Lina's universe.  Could it perhaps be a
Lina crosses into Ranma's universe fic?

It could not.  That woman named "Lina Inverse" is totally unlike Lina Inverse.
Why is she using Lina's name?  Doubtless Xelloss would know.  

My reccomendations,
   Don't deny it to be a crossover, it it leaves the reader wondering
what you were thinking when you wrote that and plants the seeds of doubt
as to your writing skill.

It's not a crossover.  He's just borrowing some random elements.
