I would love to see mow Tenchi starts acting around the
princess&pirate now.. maybe it'll give sassami a better
chance??

On the other hand, it'd be just as fun(ny) to see Ryoko's and 
Ayeka's plan backfire on them, or better yet, have Tenchi 
discover what they're up to and let them think its backfiring.
