I've been trying to finish my series for the pass year now.  I'm happy to say that I just reached 140k.  However, everytime I think that I am at the verge of completing it.  I get another story idea.  

I fiddled with this and thought that I might as well run with it.  If anyone can remember the far past of 4 years ago, you might remember a TV show called Quantum Leap.  In it a man was sent back to different times and places to correct past events.  I got the idea that something like this could be inserted into the Tenchi Muyo OVA series.  

Picture Tenchi getting zapped by one of Washu's gizmos and is bounce around different anime instead of time.  It would be a series of different X-overs.  I've already started filling in the roles.  Tenchi  will or course have Sam's role.  Washu will definately have Holly's role.  Now, I'm stuck on the role of Al.  I think I'll put Ryoko in it.  Or just use any of the girls that might be around.  Ryoko, would add the comic relief that I may need.  But I already have an ideal using her in the episode where Nagi some how get's sucked in to the OVA series.(STILL IN THE WORKS)
