	This should be really simple: write a fic about a prank, or a series 

of

pranks.
	I don't care what series it is set in, or how long it is.  All I'm 

asking is

that there is a prank, and it not be tossed into the fic just to 

qualify it.

It's gotta figure into the plot somehow...

My computer's gone buggy.  Literally.
I really hate ants...

  I wrote a little spamfic and it somehow went over various people's 
heads.  So, now about two whole years later, I'm ready to finish it.

	Rei, Why-

	"Rei, why did you do that?" Shinji Ikari inquired.
	"I just did it." Rei responded.
	"Yes, but why?"
	"There, I've done it again."
	"Yes, but WHY are you doing it?"
	"I've done it once more."
	"Look, Rei.  I know you've done it.  Twice, in fact.  But what I want 
to know is-"
	"I've done it again."
	"Misato, Rei won't tell me why she's doing that."
	"What's she doing?"
	"That."
	"Wow.  That's impressive.  Why did you do it, Rei?"
	"I've just done it again."
	"Yes, but WHY are you-"
	"Hey, what's going on?"
	"Hey, Ritsuko, check out what Rei's doing."
	"I never knew you could DO that with one of those."
	"I've done it again."
	"Yes, Rei, but why are you doing it?"
	"I've done it twice."
	"Uh-huh, but why-"
	"Hey, what's up?"
	"Hey, Asuka.  Look at what Rei's doing."
	"WOW!  That's so COOL!"
	"What is Rei doing?" Gendo asked, approaching the monitors.
	"That's it, I'm leaving." Shinji said, turning and leaving.
	No sooner had he left the room than he caught sight of Rei.
	"Rei, how are you on the monitor and right here too?" Shinji inquired.
	"......." Rei answered, running off.
	[Wait a minute... she must be pulling a prank!  Hahahahaha!  Wow.  
Never knew SHE'D do something like that.  I mean, it's not like she can 
be in two places at once, right?  She must've recorded herself doing 
that, then placed it into one of the machines and had it loop itself.  
Man, Ayanami is one neat prankster.] Shinji thought to himself as he 
turned and left, now believing he knew why Rei was doing what she had 
been doing.
	"Do you think he knows?" Rei VII asked.
	"Not a chance in hell." Rei XXVIM answered.


	It should be noted that Shinji didn't know Rei was a clone for this 
spamfic.
