Simple little question: Is Pikachu, the one Ash carries around which
other one would I be asking about, a male or a female?

I don't think it was ever given in the show whether Pikachu was M/F. I 
guess it all depends on what the author wants I guess. I decided to make 
Pikachu a girl before actually turning her _into_ a girl by means of SoD 
girl in Pikachu - Girl Type. It just made writing the story much 
simpler...

Forgive me please for my shameless plug...

Pikachu - Girl Type Chapter 2 is coming along nicely.
