I have been thinking about certain things for a long time.
Almost three hours.
That is a very long time.
For me.
Anyway, I am sleepy and I kept thinking about this "Ja ne" thing.
What does it mean?
Oh, and there's this new fic that just poped into my head while I was
working on Threads.

Disclaimer:
This story is based off of Takahashi's Ranma 1/2. I don't own the guide and
never will. Likewise for Jusenkyo. All the characters are borrowed in some
way or another and, if broken, will be replaced immediately. I would like to
thank Takahasi for creating the nynnanichuan, without wich this story would
be very dull. I would also remind her that imitation is the sincerest form
of flattery before I have any lawyers breathing down my neck. All that said,
let's begin the tale.

Imagine for a second that there is a valley in one of the more rural places
of china. A place that would have been very hard to get to by normal
methods. Let's say that this valley has an uncounted number of springs and
let us say that they number somewhere around one-thousand and above. Let's
continue to imagine, we could say that each of these pools has a curse, that
this curse was, very nearly, the same. Say that the curse changes you.
Ranma, a japanese teenager, does not need to imagine. One day he fell into
nynnanichuan, spring of drowned girl, and his life was never the same. This
story is not of him as that has been covered already. This is the story of
Jusenkyo itself.
The pools of sorrow

"I would never have imagined that for myself. Are you sure?" "Yes" answered
the guide. "Wow, that was ceartainly odd. What does this one do then?" "Mr
costumer may want to move a bit away from that one." The young man jumped
back half a meter in responce. "Is that enough do you think?" The guide
looked at the man guardedly. "Why was it again that you wanted to come
here?" The young man sighed a heavy sigh. "I've told you several times that
it is to learn more of the curses." The guide opened his mouth for another
question but the young man interrupted him. "And I've told you just as many
times that I won't tell you why."
The guide shrugged his shoulders. He had realised that he shouldn't look a
gifthorse in the mouth. The man had turned up during one of the infrequent
storms in Jusenkyo and had been asking questions ever since. He had been
very careful as well, not once coming near enough a pool to fall in. This
was a man after the guides own heart. If he could somehow convince the man
to stay long enough, maybe he could be the next guide. He knew that Plum,
his daughter, would be very intersted in the man.
"Yes that would definetly be far enough. This is the spring of drowned lion.
It drowned here 3200 years ago. A wealthy merchant was passing through after
meeting with some other traders...

The wind blew by, rustling the leaves on the bushes as it did so. Ran wanted
to run through them with wild laughs. Sadly, that wasn't possible as old
Phaa beside him was his responsibility. Old phaa would never survive
something so taxing All the lion could muster as it was would be an
occasional grunt or a yawn if he really felt up to it. Life was wasted on
the lion in Rans opinion but there was nothing to do about it, his master
had raised the lion himself and was very attached to it. Phaa would be kept
alive as long as possible just because of that.
Over in the bushes Cat was waiting. She had snuck away from her mother in
the foodtent so that she could be left alone. Of course, to be alone was not
really her intention. She parted the leaves to look over at Ran. He was a
handsome boy, a bit rugged but not too much. When he had grown up he would
really be a lady-killer. Cat was determined to make sure he knew to whom he
belonged before that happened. She leaned back and steadied her heart. She
breathed in and out and stretched out her arms.
"Oh Raaaan! Where arrrrrrrrre you?" She called waiting for him to jump into
her arms. She waited a while, she waited twice that long and then she pushed
the whole bush aside. Ran was still standing still beside that stupid lion.
How could he! He was supposed to run laughing into her waiting arms. She
stomped her foot on the ground. This was sorely infuriating, if she couldn't
count on him now how would she be able to "polish" him when they got ready
to be married?
Cat decided that he needed some "help" guarding the lion and slowly walked
over to him. She made sure to sway her hips when she walked. It wasn't easy
but she thought she managed nicely. Once beside him, she froze. What was she
supposed to say! She hadn't planned to walk over to him. What could she do
to start a conversation? Maybe she shouldn't start, maybe he, being the man,
was ment to "initiate contact" as her mother had insisted as "the only right
way"? She straightened up, "H- hi". There she had started, he would be able
to go the rest of the way. "Hi!" He answered back.

So what do ya'll think?
Is it worth continuing or is this to little to go on?
There is more, but the rest is so garbled and hacked up that it shows little
to none estetic value.
Can this Really be called a Ranma fic when Ranma isn't even involved, only
mentioned in the first paragraph? It' still in the Ranma world though.
I'm basically thinking of having one curse per Chapter and perhaps an extra
one were the guide and the guy reminisce about what happened before.
Please answer me.
P.S. I would like the answer to all three questions.
