My mind has gone off the deep end, I think.. I was working on some
speculation about one of the events in Evangelion, and it suddenly
crossed my mind that it was similar to an event in Terry Pratchett's
Discworld series, namely Rincewind not dying -because- Death showed up.
  So I sat and started thinking (a dangerous activity for me, as many
can attest) -  Is Shinji Rincewind, the Eternal Coward?  Does that make
Eva01 the Luggage?  Gendou the Patrician, or maybe the Archchancelor?
Fuyutsuki as Commander Vimes or maybe the Senior Wrangler, Ritsuko as
Ponder Stibbons, Asuka as Granny Weatherwax (or the young girl in Equal
Rites), Misato as Nanny Ogg?  Nerv Headquarters becomes the Unseen
University (or possibly just the High Energy Magic Department).  The
Magi become Hex.  The angels are from the Dungeon Dimensions.  Kensuke
as Twoflower.  PenPen as the Librarian.  Rei as Susan.
  This cries out for a crossover soo badly, yet I could never do it
justice.  Any good writers out there care to take it up? :)  (or better
yet, has anyone ever started something like this before?)
