Two Galactic Standard Years Later
A small comment here, a Galactic Year (or Galactic Standard
Year) is an astronomical term meaning the time it takes the
galaxy to revolve around it's center once, or
approx. 230 MILLION Terran years (230,000,000 earth years),
so if Ranma is going home after 2 Galactic Years, then we
can probably assume either time travel or you meant 2
Standard Years or 2 Terran Standard Years (365 1/4 earth
days)
Sorry about it being so unclear. By Galactic Standard year I meant a
universally agreed upon standard of time for the Phase World Universe.
Galactic standard year equals roughly 491 Terran Days or
1 and 1/3 Terran Standard years. Which makes Ranma about 20 years old when he
finally goes back. Also because Rifts work in four dimensions time is
relative, 3 years passing for Ranma doesn't necessarily mean 4 years have
passed back in his world.
As for the rest of the story, Fair to Middlin, I will have
to review the earlier parts to be able to judge more than
that.
That is one problem with the private bet series, each is
unlabeled as to the name of the story, on the subject line
of the letter, so it is hard to keep track of them.
Gomen, I'm working on it. Titles unfortunately are not my strong point.
