oh great. now i've lost my address book, including all the
people i've been writing. my pre-reader list, everything. *poof*

i'm going to have to send this to the ML. addresses are gone,
sent files are gone, deleted basket is gone, e-mail's empty,
everything's erased.

the problem is centered around the "Internet Temporary Files"
folder, which crashes the system when you try to access it.
It doesn't matter whether you're doing it manually or through
a program like "Cleanup Wizard" with "Nuts N Bolts" or "First
Aid". current size of the file is 42M. 

reloading Win '98 hasn't helped, in fact that's what destroyed
my address book, apparently.
if i haven't heard anything by Friday, i'll have to send what i've
got as far as stories to the ML or _somewhere_ and reformat the
hard-drive. i've got four "in progress" works, the uncompleted 
Featherbrite chapter 7, and AVSB 4 that would have to be sent
as is. it's that or delete everything.

if someone has encountered this problem and knows how to fix,
please e-mail.
