I thought it was splendid, very entertaining, and I personally
LIKE large bits of prose where people tend to talk a lot to make a
point.

To each their own, I found it a good slice of daily lifein the
current times, although it also bothered me a little. It seemed like
daily life, so I guess that is what bothered me. And if Ranma was going
to take a mistress, why not find Ucchan or Shampoo?? Someone not afraid
of Nabiki???
I did like the story, very much so, and the same thing I liked
about it also disturbed me... although it is somewhat reminiscent of my
own fanfiction in that it takes the old zaniness and brings elements of
the world into it that aren't normally expressed.
I also like how it is resolved, you don't suggest the idea that
Akane and Ranma are fixed miraculously, just that they had a talk and
were on the ROAD to fixing things.... Kuno and Nabiki's resolution
seemed realistic and very possible. I find it hard to determine if the
story is about Akane and Ranma, or Kuno and Nabiki however, and must
agree with Kleppe that it seems a little like you are using two favorite
characters to resolve these problems.
I also would have liked to have seen
Kasumi/Tofuu/Nodoka/Genma/Soun in the story... and even Ryouga. Ryouga
would surely stop by on occassion, seeing as how he is friends with
Ranma and would likely still be friends with Akane (If she hadn't found
out). Just a suggestion.
All in all, however, a good story, I liked the last few
paragraphs especially. :)
