First of all, any complaints, suggestions, arguments, etc. about my posts
should be sent directly to me. NOT the list. I don't always have time to
answer them, but I DO read them, and sending to the list only generates
more SPAM.

That's no excuse. Anyone who chooses to reply to something on the FFML has
the responsibility to make sure that what they have to say hasn't already
been said. Because when people don't extend this simple courtesy to one
another, the list ends up being clogged with a deluge of replies that all
say the same thing.

If you're not willing to do this, if you absolutely insist on answering 
mail before you've read the entire thread, you have another perfectly good  
option. It's called private mail. It's the best way to answer questions
that are asked on the list, and no matter what you say there's no chance
at all of me banning you for it.

And yes, I understand that there's a lag on the list, and if you post to a
banned thread because you haven't received the ban yet, that's
understandable. But if you had plenty of time in which to see the ban
message and just didn't bother to check for it, that's irresponsible
behavior, and anyone who makes a habit of it is going to hear from me.
