Big fat hairy deal.
##Not true. Nanking was in CHINA. There's a big
difference (unless you're talking about China being so
large) And I don't think that's true. I have a Chinese
clasmate who is got VERY upset with me when she saw a
book on learning Kanji on my desk. I have had several
experiences with other Chinese Students. And my sister
has been to China several times and reports the same
thing. The Chinese do NOT like the Japanese. (The
Koreans are even worse) And these are people who
weren't BORN during WWII. I think it is not
unreasonable to assume the mythic Amazons would share
this antipathy DURING the war period. It's not as if
the Japanese went out of there way to endear themselves
to any NON-Japanese during this period.
I'll have to agree with this point here. Some Chinese I know won't buy
anything labeled "Made in Japan", since they had relatives who had
atrocities committed upon them. My parents tried to convince my sister
not to take Japanese in her freshman year (though they've probably
forgotten the incident by now.)
As has been explained to me, the Japanese are seen as barbarians who use
loose justifications to attempt to control everything. WWII is taught as
the Japanese attempt to 'protect' the Asian sphere (I'm not sure if this
is true today, but my sister's been to Japan, and she told me that her
friends thought that World War II was old history.) There were also many
captured women from Korea and China who were raped, and the victums have
not been given compensation even to this day. If nothing else, I believe
that this last point would have been easily enough to enrage the Amazons.
Heck, you only have to take a look at the reaction to the Fishing Islands
incident about two or three years ago to gauge the general mood of the
Chinese towards the Japanese. Demonstrations in both Taiwan and China, and
some students drowned rather than be chased away by a Japanese patrol.
Now, does this mean that any Japanese person today who visits Taiwan is
going to be killed on sight? No. But expecting lots of love isn't
practical either.

The sardines weren't worth the trouble. A few more shots, then
Ryoga-san would overheat and explode. Ducking around a corner,
I managed to lose him as I entered the ramshackle residence of
my Anime supplier.
One look at his face and I knew that I was betrayed. "Tell me."
I insisted. He refused, so I slammed him against the wall.
"Last chance. Where can Ranma-Ranma find good fanfics?"
"Try Jason Liao." he whispered, before he slumped to the floor.
I heard the sounds of a door splintering as I left through the
window, one step ahead of Tendo Heavy Industries...
