First off, I'm asking this in regards to a fanfic I'm writing, so it is 
related to the list. Anyways, I recall reading somewhere that the 
Japanese consider birds to be an ill portent or evil omen.... is this 
true? And what are some of the other things that are considered to 
be indications of bad things to come?
