Anyway, for anyone who cares, this post is about the status of my fanfics
and excuses for extreme tardiness regarding them. If you're not interested,
I find that the Delete button works wonders in these cases. I, myself, use
it regularly.  :)

"Whispers of the Wicked Past" (chapter 3):
Now, to those of you who actually started to try and follow this...
Sorry! Really, I am. I don't even want to think about how long ago it was
that I posted the last chapter. Yeesh. You're not supposed to get major
writing block after 2 chapters and a prologue! Truth is, before I even
started this fic, I had a plot worked out for the whole thing. It was very
happy with its job, but I wasn't happy with it as I couldn't get it to
continue any further without it running into contrivances that would make
previous chapters seem believable. So I had to scrap that plot and now,
apart from the ending, I'm writing this story off the top of my head.
Chapter 3's already undergone quite a few major revisions as I try to figure
the smoothest path through the fanfic, despite an unaccountable number of
mountains and valleys in the way. Hopefully, it should go to my brilliant,
patient, kind, intelligent, witty 2 pre-readers within a few weeks now that
I'm on vacation (finally!). Anyone with any thoughts or ideas is welcome to
share them with me.

"Eve" (chapter 7):
Gomen! Gomen! Well, if you've been following this one for long then you'll
realise that chapters have never been quick to come out but I think this is
a new record! Again, severe (and I mean, severe) writing block has been the
main reason for this overlong delay. It's hard work trying to steer this
away from cheesiness towards a semblance of something with atmosphere and
originality *snicker*. Since this is my oldest continuing fanfic, I'm harder
on it than anything else I've written and it brings out my perfectionist
streak. It's now top priority and should (notice, "should" not
"will" :) be out by next weekend.

"Hard To Say Goodbye" and other fics on my webpage:
Nothing new will come out on them until I get a chapter each for "WotWP" and
"Eve" finished but "HTSG" should come out soon after due to lack of writing
block on it, thankfully.

Anyway, to all of those that are still reading (yeah, you two out there...
hey, wake up!!), sorry for the rambling spam but I thought you were entitled
to a decent explanation. ^_^;
