I hadn't thought of a sequel since this was meant as a
parody. Has possibilities though. ^_^

Yeah, think about it! Genma took Ranma on the ten year training trip to 
get him away from Akane's influence, which was spreading even then. 

The engagement to Ukyou was an attempt to break free of Akane by coming 
under the protection of the Order of Okonomiyaki (or some such... not 
the Church of Ukyou). Somehow it failed, and he ran off with the 
okonomiyaki cart - part of his backup plan to reduce her influence.

The bit with the Jusenkyo Springs was intentional (become someone else 
so Akane couldn't find them) but it backfired, allowing her greater 
influence. Curses are like that.

The incident with the Amazons was an attempt to get themselves killed, 
thus their souls would be saved.

Unfortunately, they're both firmly under Akane's power... or so it would 
seem.

Genma has been spending most of his time as a panda _as_a_deception_!!! 
So Akane would think he couldn't be a threat, and therefore not worth 
bothering with!

But he has developed a means to escape her control, even as a panda, and 
that means she cannot possibly regain control over his human form...

I'm STILL not gonna write it.
