And that's about as far as I can go (yes, sir!) 

I *can* picture a conclusion where Ranma comes home to the Tendo dojo 
and is either greeted at the door or is confronted in the guest bedroom 
with Kasumi in an... er... interesting negligee (personally, I *like* 
Gregg Sharp's theory, from "Ring of Toltiir", that her vapidness is due 
to the efforts of reining in a triple-strength libido.  Virtually without 
canonical basis, but an interesting and amusing theory nonetheless), but 
getting to the conclusion has proven logically impossible.

Well...

What's Ranma's state upon coming home?  Pursued by girls bent on revenge?
Pursued by girls who want his body?  Not pursued by anyone, because he's
ticked them all off so much that they're shunning him?  Some combination?
(Trying to make up with Akane, who's mad at him, and being chased by all
the others, seems the most likely...)  If you can't work the plot
forwards from the middle, perhaps you can work it back from the end?

If not, you might want to pick a different conclusion...

I see two issues here: first, plot.  How do you get from the events you
started with to the events you want to end with?  What happens in
between?

If you're hung up on that, though, you might want to look at themes
instead.  Will Ranma triumph, showing everyone how wrong they were
about him?  Will Ranma find that he's starting to like being
lecherous?  Will the girls discover that THEY like him being
lecherous?  Will Ranma's cunning plan backfire, hurting feelings
and putting him in a worse position than he started?

Once you decide what the story is supposed to say, that may drive
the plot to a satisfactory conclusion. 

For one thing, while he can shock most of Furinkan with his antics (and 
he's already freaked out two of his fiancees), there's a question of 
whether anyone will "get" the message (That Kasumi might miss the point 
is acceptable; after all it's IC for her, if how she deals with the 
misunderstanding is not).  Moreover, the more I think about it, the 
less likely it appears that Ran-chan will be able to complete the 
task at all; namely, that of freaking out ALL of us fiancees.

That may not be the task.  After all, neither Shampoo and Ukyo were
involved in the mock-trial.  (Where WAS Ukyou during that, anyway?)
It seems to me that Ranma's goal is to freak out the Furinkan crowd,
not all his fiancees, by giving them a taste of what he'd do if he
really was what they say he is, and thereby show that he's NOT.

To that end, he can involve Ukyou and Shampoo, with the constraints
being their characters and his.  Ranma may not wish to go too far; he
almost certainly doesn't want to actually have sex with anyone, and
probably doesn't want to lie or make any promises, and he may not
want to really hurt anyone's feelings past the point of a rough
practical joke.

I think Shampoo's not a slut, just forward in a way consistent with
a culture in which the sex-role stereotypes are swapped.  It seems to
me that she'd come on to Ranma right up until the point that he started
chasing her, at which point she'd lure him off to China... but no pussy
(sorry) until they were safely in the Joketsuzoku village.

If Ranma wanted to use her to prove he wasn't a lecher, he might respond
to her advances.  This would show the others what it looks like when he
does.  If he could maneuver her into remarking that this isn't how he
usually behaves, that would underline it.

As for Ukyou, no offense, but I think she's a bit of a prude.  :)  If
Ranma were to use the same tactic on Ukyou in public, she'd probably
get flustered, try to spatulate him over the horizon, and run away...
of course, that might be useful, too.

So it seems I'm stuck.  And yes, I know I *could* leave Shampoo and 
myself out, but it wouldn't seem *complete*, now, would it?

I agree.  The girl-girl angle would probably work on them, but using
that 3 times would get tedious...

Alternatively, Ranma could indulge in a bit of upright foreplay with
Shampoo and Ukyou separately and make a date for later... same time,
same place.  When they get there, he tells them he wants a 3-way.
That would freak them out, I think...

Other random notions:

Ranma may find it easier (and more fun) to deal with Hinako-sensei,
now that he's not worried about how it looks to be grabbing her chest.

Akane's "pervert!" tune may change if she gets the idea that Ranma
finds HER sexy.

Letting Nabiki off the hook may not work as well as subjecting her to
the lecher treatment too.  Lotsa readers have it in for Nabiki.  :)

But that's assuming my assumptions about this piece being logically 
flawed aren't correct, and this poor thing'll haveta be scrapped 
regardless.  I still think it'd be a shame, but that's life, huh?

I think it'd be a shame too.  It's an interesting idea, with a lot
of built-in potential for prying into the social web of the Ranma
1/2 cast and I'd like to see it successfully concluded.  Use whatever
definition of success you like.  :)
