What if during Xena's recent trip to India, where Gabby became a deviant
devi, they had met Kongo the Monkey King along with his monk on their
quest for "the writings of the Guardian"?

You might think the fun here would be things like, can the power rod swat
the shakram out of the air, but no the point of it all is to have Xena and
Kongo roll their eyes when the monk and Gabby go at a debate.
