Here's my take on the whole situation.

Plagiarize: To pass off as one's own the ideas or words of another.

In my opinion, Seratia's actions do not meet the legal definition of the
word.

Slander: 1, A false report maliciously uttered and tending to injure the
reputation of a person. 2, To utter slander against.

In my opinion, Lurker's actions do meet the legal definition of the word
and I recommend that Seratia press Lurker to issue a public and formal
apology on the FFML retracting his previous statement against Seratia.
If Lurker does not comply, then I recommend that Seratia commence legal
action against Lurker. Lurker's actions were, in my opinion, both false
and injurious against Seratia and she deserves compensation for damages.
