You know, after all of the Akane-bashing and Ukyou-bashing I've seen
going over the FFML in the last day or two, all in the name of 'fic
writing, I'm left with one question:

Do you really hate these creations of ink and pen so much?

No.  I write about them because I have a great deal of affection for
most of them.  There are characters I dislike, but even so I try to
write them as people.

  I'm quite sure this 'bashing attitude' springs from the fact that 
people are misunderstanding-- that is where argument starts, after all. 
It is one thing to blatently bash a character and another to take a 
character a certain direction (which may/may not be agreeable to the 
readers); the difference is, in the latter, the author, at least, 
respects the character for what he/she is, and in the former... well, 
not so (for instance, having Kuno being beaten up by every other 
character for no good reason-- but nobody seems to complain about that). 
If 'Misfotunes' were really an Akane-bashing fic, it was well-thought 
out for one (I can't say anything about 'Justice,' cuz I still haven't 
read it).
